iMathsK app for iPhone and iPad

iMathsK is for Kindergarten students (Aged 5-6 years), an interactive tool that is meant to greatly enhance your childs knowledge of this critical subject, at such an early age.

Instructions and questions are audio visual. Children are not expected to read at this age, so iMathsK uses images and audio to teach your child maths. Only the symbols for numbers 0 to 100, addition, subtraction and equality are presented as children are required to learn these symbols at this stage.

iMathsK Purposes:

• The end user is your child, he should be able to use it independently to learn maths.

• You can also use iMathsK to know exactly what your child is supposed to learn and follow her/his progress.

• A comprehensive Knowledge Test allows measuring the level of understanding of the lessons provided.

• Knowledge Test scores are reported to Game Center, this allows you to assess how well your child ranks among other children on an international level.

• Lessons provided are strictly based on the American "Common Core State Standards for Mathematics - Kindergarten", a standard adopted by 45 states, the District of Columbia, four territories, and the Department of Defense Education Activity.

Counting and Cardinality
• Know number names and the count sequence.
• Count to tell the number of objects.
• Compare numbers.

Operations and algebraic thinking
• Understand addition as putting together and adding to, and understand subtraction as taking apart and taking from.

Number and Operations in Base ten
• Work with numbers 11–19 to gain foundations for place value.

Measurement and data
• describe and compare measurable attributes.
• Classify objects and count the number of objects in categories.

Geometry
• Identify and describe shapes.
• analyze, compare, create, and compose shapes.
